This Privacy Policy explains what personal information SeyChizz(“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to your use of SeyChizz and related services.
1. Information We Collect
Account data. When you register we collect your email, a username, and a password hash. If you sign in with Google we receive your email and basic profile fields (name, profile picture) returned by Google.
Content you upload. Photographs and related metadata you upload to the Service are stored so we can deliver galleries to you and the recipients you choose.
Derived data. To power face search we compute and store numeric embeddings derived from faces in your uploaded photos. Embeddings are tied to your account and the events you create.
Billing data. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive a payment status, an order/payment identifier, and the plan you purchased. We do not see or store full card numbers, CVVs, or UPI credentials.
Usage & device data. We log basic technical information such as IP address, user agent, referrer, and request timestamps so we can operate the Service, prevent abuse, and debug errors.
Cookies. We use a small number of cookies for authentication (session token) and to remember UI preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- To authenticate you and secure your account;
- To process payments and send invoices via our payment processor;
- To send transactional email (verification, password reset, billing receipts);
- To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents;
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use Your Content to train third-party AI foundation models.
3. Sharing With Third Parties
We share information only with service providers that help us run SeyChizz:
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Cloud hosting and storage providers — to host the application, store photos, and serve them via our CDN.
- Google — if you choose Google sign-in.
Each provider only receives the data needed to perform its function and is bound by its own terms and privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SeyChizz, our users, or others.
4. Retention
We retain your account data and Your Content for as long as your account is active. When you delete content or your account, we remove it from active systems and from backups within a reasonable period. Some records (for example, invoices) may be retained longer to meet legal or accounting obligations.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, scoped access tokens, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure; you should use a strong, unique password and keep your account credentials confidential.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most account fields directly in settings or request assistance at support@seychizz.com.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can remove it.
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than the one in which you reside. We take reasonable steps to ensure transfers comply with applicable law.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice in the Service. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
